Philosophy I do photography because I really enjoy it. What started as a life-long hobby accidentally became a business in 2002 when I was paid by people I hadn't previously met to photograph their wedding. The following year, five couples who had seen my photos of the first wedding, asked me to photograph their weddings. Without any advertising other than this website, I booked 20 weddings in 2004 and 25 in 2005, 2006 and 2007. I have been raising my prices to keep the number of weddings I do relatively low (sorry!). I now try to limit myself to just 20 per year. Considering that I will spend more than 40 hours on each wedding between attending the ceremony and processing the photos, this has grown into a significant part of my (and my family's) life. Surprisingly, I still really enjoy every aspect of it. |
